France’s reputation in the world of wine needs no introduction. The French may not have invented wine but they sure have taken it to a whole new level. If you’ve ever travelled in France you know there are very few corners of the country that don’t produce delightful wines. This dinner will pit some of those lesser-known beauties against the glorious cooking of Pukka’s kitchen. Whites, reds, rosés and bubblies… Anything is possible! You may leave with some brand new favourites.

Twenty years ago, a few earnest people were making organic wines but most producers back then were better grape growers than winemakers. That has changed radically and now the organic wine movement as a phenomenon has grown exponentially and the wines are some of the best in the world.

 

Tonight we’ll explore the different methodologies and levels of organic, bio-dynamic and natural wines and see how they taste, how they differ and how they work with Indian food. The movement has exploded globally and the wines have never been better! Delicious and good for you!
